Nazrin Hafiz Trina, 20, accounting first -year student at Khulna Government BL College is now fighting for life at intensive care unit(ICU) of Burn Unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
She has been given treatment providing life support. 45 per cent of her body was burnt while cooking with gas stove on August 10.
Father of the victim retired bank official SM Hafizur Rahman of Nawapara industrial town in Jessore told New Age that Trina received burn serious wounds while cooking at their residence on August 10. She was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital soon after the incident and then shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on the same day. She was first admitted to the burn unit and then shifted to ICU on the next day. Her bed number is 10. Referring to doctors of the hospital he added that 45 per cent of her body was burn in fire.
She was kept on life support as her condition deteriorated.
