JU intake test viva voce from Dec 1

The viva voce for the selected admission candidates to enroll in first year honours courses of Jahangirnagar University (JU) under the academic session 2014-15 has been scheduled on December 1 to 4.
Member Secretary of JU admission conducting committee, Mohammad Ali said, followed by a meeting of the admission committee the schedule has been fixed.
Practical text would be taken under the department of Fine Arts and Drama and Dramatics Department, he added.
Besides, the aspirants under different quota have been asked to collect their quota form by Tk 200 from the Agrani Bank of university branch.
The relevant certificates would be attached with the quota application.
The result of viva voce would be published on December 8 at the notice board of respective dean office.
The necessary details about admission would be available in JU website www.juniv.edu/admission.  

CU distributes admit cards thru’ websites

The admission seekers of Chittagong University (CU) under 2014-15 academic session can download their admit cards from today.
CU Deputy Register (academic) and admission committee secretary SM Akber Hossain said, the admission seekers can download their admit card from Tuesday for appearing the admission test which is going to starts on 27th October and continue till 6th November”.
Those who were completed their application vie SMS process on scheduled time can downloaded their admit card login www.cu.ac.bd or Taletalk website www.cu.taletalk.com.bd , he added.
Without this, regarding all information about admission were available in university website.

RU admission test begins

The admission test of Rajshahi University (RU) for the first year honors courses under 2014-15 academic session has started from Saturday.
To check question leakage and irregularities in the test, the authorities have taken precautionary measures. Mobile court will move on campus to take immediate action against the culprits. The test will be continued till October 25.
On the first day, Odd shift (as per admission seekers’ roll) of H unit will be held at 9am-10am and even shift will be held at 11am-12 pm while odd and even shift of C unit will be held at 1pm-2pm and 3:30pm to 4:30pm respectively, confirmed public relation office of the university.
Talking to The New Nation, RU proctor Prof Tarikul Hasan said, stern action would be taken against those found guilty of forgery. “The guilty men would be punished immediately by interfering with mobile court as it will move on campus during the test”, he added. No calculator, electronic devises and memory attached watch were allowed in the exam hall adding that the admission seekers have to keep unveil their ear. The law enforcement agencies were also given necessary instructions to stay alert on campus to avert any untoward situation for the sake of holding the test in a free and fair way, proctor continued.
