Dr Yeuman Yeung, Emeritus Professor of Chinese University of Hong Kong, on Thursday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university.
DU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad and Prof of the Department of Geography and Environment Dr Nurul Islam Nazem were present on the occasion. During the meeting they discussed various environmental issues specially possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes on Environmental Sciences between the two universities.
They also discussed about ways of improving city management in Bangladesh including Dhaka.
