Secretary of the Internal Resources Department (IRD) and Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Mohammad Nojibur Rahman today said the basic objectives of the upcoming budget are social development and security, poverty reduction, enhanced GDP and generation of more employment in the country.
The upcoming budget will consider economic ability and welfare of the mass people in the country, he added.
The NBR chairman said this as the chief guest while addressing a pre-budget view exchange meeting at Bangabandhu Conference hall of World Trade Center, arranged by Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) this morning.
