A homeopathic doctor was killed and three others were injured in a road accident on the Panchagarh-Thakurgaon highway in Satkhamar bus stand area of Boda upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as homeopathic doctor Samsuddin Ahmed, 92, a resident of Bolrampur union of Atwari upazila.
Witnesses said the accident took place when a bus coming from Dhaka hit Shamsuddin in the area, leaving him dead on the spot and three others injured. Of the injured, two were taken to Boda upazila health complex and another, with critical injuries.
