A homeopath doctor was found dead at Nimtala under Kaliganj Municipality of Jhenaidah district on Monday night.
The deceased identified as Abdur Razzak, 42, was the inhabitant of Chapali village of Kaliganj upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Police Station Anwar Hossain said that locals found the body of
Razzak on the way to the Ganna Bazaar at about 10 pm. Being informed, police recovered the body. Primarily police found marks of various sharp weapons on the body of the doctor. He was reportedly going to his residence after shutting down his homeopathic dispensary.
Police said that miscreants might have killed Razzak out of previous enmity. A case has been filed with Kaliganj PS in this connection.
