Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal inspected the Rooppur nuclear power plant under construction in Ishwardi on Tuesday morning and held important meetings upazila with project stakeholders. Cabinet Secretary Anwarul Islam, IGP Dr Benazir Ahmed, Additional IGP (SB) Md Monirul Islam, Rajshahi Range DIG Abdul Baten, Pabna Deputy Commissioner Biswas Russell, Pabna SP Mahibul Islam, Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer PM Imrul. Additional SP Firoz Kabir of Kayes, Ishwardi and other senior government officials were present.
The minister arrived at Ishwardi Airport by helicopter from Dhaka at 10 am. From there he went directly by road to inspect the Rooppur project. Minister she received a salute at the charming and Chinese-designed bungalow factory on the banks of the Padma River. Ruhul Quddus, in-charge of the site office of the Rooppur project, said that it was a complete government program.
