Actor and director Hasan Jahangir earlier worked with Homayra Himu in drama serial and faction plays. For the first time, they performed together in a TV commercial. Directed by Kaisar Ahmed Hasan and Himu performed as models in a TVC of Al Salan Restaurant at Jamuna Future Park in the city. Shooting of the TVC was done on Tuesday.
Homayra Himu’s call-time was at 3:00pm. But she liked the TVC so much that she came to spot before her schedule time and enjoying seeing the shooting after receiving her make-up.
While talking in this regard Homayra Himu told this correspondent, “I am seen most of the time in TV plays but I am very much irregular in TVCs. In fact, due to mismatch of bat and ball I could not work in TVC. After getting proposal from Kaisar Ahmed’s TVC I agreed to work. It is really a nice TVC.”
Hasan Jahangir said, “Within the month of Ramzan the TVC will go on air. For this reason, within very short time its shooting has been finished. I have a nice chemistry with Himu on the screen. For this reason, she got the chance to perform. Both of us performed our level best. After airing viewers will enjoy the TVC, I believe.”
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid Hasan Jahangir also worked with popular film actress Poppy in a special play titled Mental.
On the other hand, Himu is regularly acting now. For the first time she has shown her keen interest to work in the big screen. Himu acted only released movie was Aamar Bondhu Rashed where she played in an important role.
