In her acting career, Homayra Himu acted in many plays till now which became popular among the viewers. But viewers most of the time forget title of those works. In case of movie, viewers recall the role for long time. Aru Apa is such a character in which role Himu played and viewers still love memory the role.
In 2011, Homayra Himy got popularity to play in role of Aru Apa in Morshedul Islam’s movie Aamar Bondhu Rashed. She still believes to act in such type of role.
She said, “Acting in role of Aru Apa was one of memorable journey in my career. It was really a great work. I was grateful to Morshed Bhai to give me the opportunity to play in that role in his movie. I have intention to work in such type of role in future as viewers can remember me.”
Meanwhile, Homayra Himu has already finished shooting of two plays to be released on Youtube. These are Delwar Hossain Dil’s Khyapa Basu and Hawker Abdul Hai. Therefore, yesterday she acted in a play titled Ami Bibaher Patro directed by Faridul Hasan.
Himu also mentioned that on August 7, she will also take part in shooting of play Vote Diley Goru Free under Hasan Jahangir’s direction. Now Himu’s three serials are being aired in different satellite channels.
