Viewers’ choice popular TV actress Homayra Himu last performed as a model in a TV commercial three years ago. Later she did not see to perform as a model in any other TVC. Now she is only seen to act in TV plays and serials.
Right now Himu is only engaged with acting in TV serials. She is now acting in several drama serials including new serials. Now Himu acted several serials are being aired. These are: Mir Sabbir directed Noashal, F Zaman Taposh’s Kancher Phul, Fazlur Rahman’s Mirza Barir Meye and JM Saikat’s DB. These serials are being aired on RTV, BTV, Channel i and ATN Bangla respectively. Within very short time she acted new serial titled Comedy 420 is going to air on Boishakhi TV.
Himu also informed that recently she has also acted in a documentary titled Tula Rashi under Shamim Zaman’s direction. Ahona and Shamim Zaman also worked with her in the documentary. It has been made by the government funding.
While talking about her works in TV serials Homayra Himu told this correspondent, “I am very much satisfied about my roles in those serials where I am working specially I am really satisfied with the role Kulshum in serial Noashal. My hometown is Noakhali so I am enjoying a lot working the serial. Therefore, I am also getting positive responses from my other acted serials.”
Today is Homayra Himu’s birthday. She does not keep any shooting on her birthday. She passes the day with her mother Shamima Akhter. She stays at her residence in the city’s Uttara area. She along with her mother take dinner at night. Meanwhile, after Morshedul Islam’s Aamar Bondhu Rashed Himu was not seen to act in any other movie. She has interest to work in bug screen. If she gets good story and character she will work in movie, Himu said.
