Viewers’ choice popular TV and theatre actress Homayra Himu has been engaged with acting for many years. She is regularly acting now. This time she is going to appear with a new identity to all. She is going to work as director of a reality show.
At the Central Public Library in the capital’s Shahbag area a two-day music reality show titled ‘BD Singer of the Nation’ will kick off today. Through this reality show talented singers will be searching across the country. Himu is working as the director of the show.
While talking in this regard Homayra Himu told this correspondent, “For the first time in my life, I have taken a huge responsibility on my shoulder. This new work seems to be more challenging to me. I am inventing myself with new identity. I am grateful to the organizing committee of this reality show because they gave me such responsibility. I am hopeful to fulfil my work properly. I strongly believe through this reality show many talented singers will be come out in the country.”
Himu also informed that audition round of the reality show is scheduled to be held from 8:00am to 8:00pm today and tomorrow. Later by phase after months its grand finale will be held.
Meanwhile, Homayra Himu is regularly acting in Sajjad Hossain Dodul’s serial Chhayabibi, Faridul Hasan’s serial Comedy 420, GM Saikat’s serial DB, etc now. Himu got appreciation to act in Morshedul Islam’s movie Aamar Bondhu Rashed.
Therefore, she also acted in Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s movie Ek Cup Cha.
