Director General of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) Mahfuzur Rahman in a circular on Tuesday has cancelled all holidays of its field level officials and employees to resist flash flood in the country.
In this regard all officials and employees of BWDB have been asked to contact Deputy Commissioners and local people’s representatives in resisting flash flood.
They also asked to stay at their respective workplaces to take immediate steps against floods.
The circular also postponed all leaves (except Hajj leaves) from April 1 to September 30, 2019.
