Bangladesh national hockey team suffered a narrow 4-5 goal defeat to a local Chinese selection Ghansu Gobej Club in a practice match held on Monday at Ghansu Province in China.
In the day’s match, Ashraful scored a brace while Milon and Niloy netted one goal each for Bangladesh national hockey team side.
Earlier on Thursday last, a 22-member Bangladesh National Hockey team left for China to play eight preparatory matches against different local teams of Ghansu Province as part of their preparation for the Hero 10th Men’s Asia Cup scheduled for October 11-22 in Dhaka.
