The day-long Hockey Carnival was held at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday. Dhaka District Sports Office arranged the Hockey Carnival. Director of Sports Directorate Dr Md Aminul Islam inaugurated the Hockey Carnival.
A total of 100 hockey players took part at a colourful rally.
Later, six men’s team and two women’s team participated in the exhibition matches.
National Awardee and former national hockey player Protap Shankar Hazara, Hockey Coach Azizullah Haider Jamal and Assistant Director of Sports Directorate and former hockey player Md Tariquzzaman were present at the time.
