A man died after being hit by a sacrificial cow in the city’s Shyampur area on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Taher Ali, 55. Hailing from Homna in Cumilla, he used to live in Jurain Boubazar.
Bachchu Mia, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, said the cow hit Taher from behind around 12:30 am while he was passing Faridabad School on foot, leaving him injured.
