Highest security for foreign players taken: CMP Commissioner

Chittagong Metropolitan Police ensures for highest security for the participating foreign football players in the ensuing Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Tournament scheduled to be held in the port city from October 20 next.
 Police commissioner AbdulJalil Mondol told it at the views exchanging meeting held between CMP and Tournament committee at CMP headquarters office on Thursday evening. Tournament committee sources said in the tournament , 5 foreign football teams will participate the tourney .
Chairman of the tournament committee and city Mayor AJM Nasiruddin was present in it as chief guest duly presided by CMP Commissioner Abdul Jalil Mondol.
City Mayor said this is first ever international football tournament in the port and it is our duty to make successful of this tournament.
He sought all-out cooperation of the law enforcing agencies for providing pinless security during tournament period.
 Sources said 8 clubs including 5 from abroad viz. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will participate the tournament.
 Among others, Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Shamsul Hoque Chowdhury MP, Tournament Media Committee Convenor Ali Abbas, Vice President Sirajuddin Md.Alamgir, Chief Coordinator Tarafdar Ruhul Amin and Coordinator Shahabuddin Shamim were present on the occasion.
