High-tech park at Kashipur area of Barisal city whivh is under construction at a cost of Tk 120 crore on 9 acres of land will provide employment to ten thousand skilled youths of the region.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak , State Minister for Information and Communication Technology , said government will never allow disorder of computer and other ICT equipment given for remaining unused, but will not mind if those would went out of order due to use by teachers and students.
He said this during exchanging views with local elite and members of ICT committee at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner on Saturday presided over by Shohidul Alam, DC, Barisal.
The ICT state minister explained different steps taking by ruling AL-led government for creating a digital Bangladesh with meritorious people.
He informed that already 27 thousand multimedia class rooms and 3,500 multimedia labs opened in last six years at educational institutions of the country which would be increased soon to 50 thousand multimedia class rooms and more two thousand multimedia labs and language clubs.
