Dissatisfaction will remain in the mind of popular TV actress and model of present generation, Jannatul Sumaiya Heme. That is she could not play the role of Sheikh Hasina in
Shyam Benegal directed Bangabandhu’s biopic. Earlier, it was announced that Heme will play the role of Sheikh Hasina in her matured age in the biopic. Later, Heme did not know the reason why she could not get the opportunity to play the role. However, Heme did not raise her voice in this regard. She became busy with her professional works later.
In the beginning of New Year, Heme took part in shooting of a TVC. She performed as model in the TVC of a multinational company’s special offer to buy their products in 50 per cent price for the newly married couples. Bappa Mahmud has made the TVC, which shooting was done in the capital’s Uttara area on January 4. Earlier, Heme last performed as model in bKash’s new app. Heme informed that she has already started shooting of Golam Sohrab Dodul directed a web series, Rup Kotha Noy and Yasir Arafat’s a web film The Hooligan. Heme acted two dramas: Biyer Porikkha, directed by Ador Sohag, and Home Delivery, directed by Samrat Jahangir- got popularity among the viewers recently. Niloy Alamgir was her co-actor in these two dramas. While talking about her planning for New Year actress Heme said, “Working in a new TVC I have started the New Year. I am hopeful about this TVC. Now I am getting positive response from the viewers for acting in two dramas, Biyer Porikkha and Home Delivery. Stories of these two dramas were really nice. I believe if the viewers will watch these two dramas, they will surely enjoy.” “I have already finished
shooting of Ashish Pal’s Dag Theke Jai and Nazmul Digonto’s Ei Tumi Nei. I have reduced
acting in drama serials now,” Heme also said.
Heme acted and Nasir Uddin Masud directed drama serial Family Problem has started to air on Nagorik TV in the beginning of New Year, she added.
