Jannatul Sumaiya Heme is a popular actress of present generation. She always tries to work in selective good story based
single episode dramas. She has more interest to act in single episode dramas rather than TV serials. Heme informed that
she has already completed shooting of a new drama titled
Ami Premik Hote Chai, which story is written by journalist Limon Ahmed and Ziauddin Alam gave direction of it. Earlier, Heme acted under Ziauddin Alam directed drama, Besorom.
While sharing her feelings to work under same director’s direction in new drama, Heme said, “I have liked story of drama Ami Premik Hote Chai. I played the role of a straight forward girl named Toma in the drama. I tried to give my level best effort to portray my role properly in the drama. It is true that Alam Bhai selected those stories which have not only love and romance but also comedy for making dramas. So, I enjoyed a lot working under his direction. I hope viewers will also enjoy this drama.”
Heme had experience to act in movies. But now she is not seen to work in any new movie. While talking in this regard, Heme said that due to mismatch of good story and co-actors, talented director and overall related everything for a good movie including appropriate producer, she did not show interest to act in any new movie. Like previous times, Heme is not regular in acting for drama serials. She said, “I can work in single episode dramas within taking part in one or two days’ shooting and now I am getting good scripts for acting like drama Ami Premik Hote Chai.”
Heme informed that she acted and Nazmul directed a new serial, Cool Age is going to air soon. Heme starrer and Nasir Uddin Masud directed serial, Family Problem is being aired in a TV channel now. Therefore, she is also acting in a serial for Zee5 now. On NTV, she has been anchoring Rupali Pordar Gaan for last three years. But she is absent from anchoring now. Meanwhile, Heme has already performed as model in several numbers of TVCs. “I am satisfied with my present position in media. My family played a pivotal role to come into this position. Right now I have no plan to get married,” Heme also said.
