Hemayet Hossain, Editor, National Desk and Anisul Islam Noor, Chief Reporter, The New Nation have been re- elected Unit Chief and Deputy Unit Chief respectively at the Annual General Meeting (AGM ) of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) unanimously at Manik Mia Foundation Auditorium yesterday evening with Unit Chief Hemayet Hossain in the chair.
A M Mufazzal, Editor, The New Nation conducted the election as Election Commissioner and the meeting was addressed, among others, by eminent journalist and the Weekly Robbar Editor Syed Tosharaf Ali , News Editor of The New Nation Shahjahan Mojumder, unit members Sahidul Islam, Sharif Khan , Kazi Jahidul Hasan , Sushil Chowdhury and Joynal Abedin Khan.
