The first death anniversary of noted media personality and former Bureau Chief of Dainik Naya Diganta Journalist Helal Humayun was held at Naya Diganta Office premises on Monday arranged by Naya Diganta family duly moderated by the incumbent Bureau chief Nurul Mostafa Kazi. The speakers in the reminiscence said Journalist Helal Humayuun was a true journalist and devoted his whole life in objective journalism and a bright example of media professionalism. Among others, former President of CUJ and Bureau chief of Daily Observer Mostaque Ahmed, bureau chiefs of Dainik Inquilab, former bureau chief of Daily Sun, former general secretary CMUJ , Bureau chief of Bangladesh Khabar, Bureau chief of Banik Barta, Bureau chief of Dainik Sangram, son of the demise Ragib Al Helali, father in law of the demise Wakil Ahmed chowdhury spoke on the occasion. Moulana Md. Shahidul Alam conducted the doa mahfil and offered munajat, sources said.
