Chattogram Bureau :
The top leaders of BNP of Chattogram lost their security due to defeat in the recently held 11th parliament election across the country.
Beside BNP, other 35 candidates of different parties also lost their security , a EC sources said.
In 16 constituencies of Chattogram, BNP nominees lost security I 12 constituencies including four heavyweight candidates. The heavyweight candidates includes former Minister Amir Khasru , former Minister Abdullah al Noman, Col Oli Ahmed of LDP, a ally of BNP Jote and City General Secretary of BNP Dr Shahdat who is in jail now.
BNP wins in politics, says Noman
Vice chairman of BNP and the nominee of BNP in Chattogram-10 consttituency Abdullah al Noman in a press statement said in voting race BNP was defeated but in real field politics, BNP not defeated.
He demands in his press statement so sent to different medias on Monday . He said the leaders and workers of BNP hardly worked with fear of arrest and attack and casted their votes with courage. He congratulated the voters for casting votes to him in the farcical election of the ruling party. He further said though BNP was defeated in voting politics but in reality BNP wins in politics in field level and crossed a stage ahead for bigger movement.
