The trade of electronics home and kitchen appliances at the ongoing month-long 21st Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2016 is gaining momentum as thousands of city dwellers are swarming to the country’s mega fair everyday following political stability and favourable weather this year compared to the last couple of years.
During the visit to the premises of DITF, it was found that the flow of visitors and customers are increasing manifold day by day and the traders are spending their busy time to deal with them.
This year, the visitors and buyers are showing their keen interest on the products of local electronics brands. To attract the fair’s visitors and buyers, Walton set up a 3-storeyed pavilion, prinked with exceptional and eye-catching decoration. They also informed that Walton has released some new models of android smart phones like Primo NX2, Primo V2, Primo ZX2 and Primo D7. Already, the newly launched Primo ZX2, priced at Tk 35,990, has lured the customers with its exceptional features like 2 gigahertz processor, 3 gigabyte ROM, 64 gigabyte RAM, high resolution rear and front camera and so many advanced features. On the occasion of country’s mega expo and the new year, the local brand also cut down the prices of its various models of LED televisions, ranging from Tk 1,500 to Tk 5,000. In addition, Walton has maximum 7 percent discount on its 24-inch, 28-inch and 32-inch LED televisions at the month-long trade fair.
