A Dhaka on Monday fixed November 18 for hearing on the cancellation of the bail granted to former Housing and Works State Minister Abdul Mannan Khan in a graft case.
Earlier, on the day Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Special Public Prosecutor Md Kabir Hossain filed a petition seeking rejection of the bail while Judge Md Jahurul Haque of the Metropolitan Sessions’ Judge’s Court of
Dhaka passed the order fixing the date for hearing.
On October 13, Dhaka’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) extended the bail of Mannan Khan to December 9 after her appeared to the court. On August 24, Mannan Khan surrendered to the CMM Court in the graft case and secured ad-interim bail up to October 13.
On August 21, ACC deputy director Nasiruddin filed a case against Mannan Khan with Ramna Police Station for concealing information of his wealth worth Tk 75 lakh 59 thousand.
