A Dhaka court on Sunday fixed November 26 for hearing in a case filed against 130 BNP leaders and activists, including its Joint Secretary Generals, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Amanullah Aman.
Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Masud Sheikh set the new date as the prosecution could not produce accused Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Aman Ullah Aman to the court from the jail. Earlier, defence lawyers Sanaullah Mia and Joynal Abedin Mesba submitted time petition on this ground.
The case was filed with Paltan Police Station on
12 March, 2013. Sub-Inspector Alauddin of Paltan Police Station filed the case on charges of vandalism and arson attacks near BNP’s Naya Paltan central office.
