Health Minister Mohammad Nasim yesterday said the healthcare system must be kept beyond political intrigues to reach its benefits at people’s doorsteps I line with the government commitments.
“I seek support from people of all walks of live, so we can bring healthcare services at the doorsteps of people,” he said while launching an international conference on “Live Surgery” at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital.
Nasim said the doctors in particular were reposed with a major responsibility in ensuring that the expected health services for ordinary people for which they must work with “sincerity and patience”.
“It is true the physicians have to work hard, however they must continue their noble job with due patience,” the minister told the conference organized by Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnoea of Bangladesh (ASSAB).
