The health technologists working in health sector as Community Health Care Provider post in the port city have been demanding realization of one point demand – nationalization of their services under revenue budget.
Following the decisions of the central committee of CHCP Association, a day-long sit-in program was observed at Hathazari Upazila complex premises at 9 a.m.
President of the Hathazari Unit of the association Kazi Md. Rashedul Hasan told the media that for the development of health sector in the country , Prime Minister established community clinics across the country in 2011 but health assistants were deployed in these community clinics with designation of Community Health Care Provider under project based appointment.
After end of project period, Family planning ministry declared nationalization of the Health care Providers through circular letter but yet their services not nationalized .
He said after end of their aaction programme memorandum will be given to Upazila Health Officer and UNO in connection. Secretary of the Hathazari Unit of the Association Uttarayan Chowdhury were present during their sit-in program , a sources said.
