Md Ashadul Islam, Secretary to the Health Services Division has been transferred to the Planning Division.
The Public Administration Ministry said it in a notice on Thursday.
Close sources to the transferred secretary said that some of dishonest people are behind his transferring with a deep conspiracy about the mask scam during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The government has attached him to the Planning Division with Abdul Mannan, Chairman of the Land Reform Board, replacing him in the Health Services Division.
