Health First Mini Rugby starts today

Health First Mini Rugby Competition starts today (Thursday) at the Paltan Maidan. Bangladesh Rugby Federation will arrange the four-day long rugby meet under auspices of Monwara Hospital Private Limited.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder will inaugurate the rugby tournament as the chief guest.
A total of 12 teams splitting into four groups will take part in the rugby meet.
Purba Khilgaon Primary School, Cambrian School & College, Rahmatullah High School have been pencilled in Group A, Saint Gregory’s High School, European Standard School, Summer Field School have been slatted in Group B, SOS Shishu Palli, Shaheed Nabi High School, Karatitola CMS Memorial High School have been billed in Group C and Methodist English Medium School, Ali Ahmed School & College, Suunydale School have been placed in Group D.
The champions of the Group A will take on the champions of Group C in the first semifinal on March 8 while the champions of the Group B will meet the champions of the Group D in the second semifinal on the same day.
The winners of the two semifinals will face each other in the final on March 9.
