Haidar Ali, headmaster of Manirampur Government Girls’ School in Jashore, treated her mother in front of Litun Jira, who was born without hands and legs on the day of admission in the class sixth grade.
And despite the difficulty of admission the list of merit in the PEC exam, Litun Jira was not admitted. The matter was later revealed to the media by her parents.
Litun Jira, who get the GPA-5 in the PEC examination writing by her mouth of the daughter of Habibur Rahman of Sheikhpara Khanpur village of Manirampur upazila of Jashore, took part in the merit list in the 6th grade admission test at Monirampur Government Girls’ School.
Jahanra Begum, mother of Litun Jira, said in an angry voice that an admission test was held on December 23 at the two-storied building of the Government Girls’ School in Monirampur.
It would be difficult for the girl to get up, so she requested the head master Haider Ali to take the Litun Jira admission exam in the ground floor. Head teacher Haider Ali was exited to received her request and said her parents in front of Litun Jira, “Where is the problem to get up Litun Jira How to bring physically challenge girl to school. I cannot arrange a sit in the ground floor for your daughter. Litun Jira and her parents were shocked at the behavior of the headmaster. Many were shocked to see this scene.
Finally after having difficulty with the behavior of the headmaster, Litun Jira, with the help of her mother, went to a certain place and gave the exam. She said that she did not agree to attend the school even though she got merit. Liton Jira wanted to test her talent by competing with other students.
Litun Jira said, if headmaster misbehave with my parents, what kinds of behave classmates to see me.She believed that the headmaster would be sympathetic. But due to the misbehavior from teacher, her desire not to admitted the Government Girls’ School. Litun Jira’s father Habibur Rahman said that misbehave of the headmaster, Litun jira could not agree to admit there.
Head teacher Haider Ali denied the allegations against him and said, “I do not understand why not she admitted my school.”
District Disability Services and Assistance Center Officer Munna Afrin said Litun Jira’s parents had informed her about the behavior of the head master. Such behavior of the head teacher can never be accepted.
