Staff Reporter : A primary school headmaster was beaten to death over a land dispute on Saturday morning in Atgharia, Paban.
The deceased, Ashraf Ali, 45, was the headmaster at Fulbaria Primary School in Ekdanta union of the upazila.
Ashraf Ali was also the General Secretary of Atgharia upazila Teachers’ Association.
Locals and family members said that the deceased was having land related dispute with his neighbor.
Getting information, police have been sent to the area, Officer-in-Charge of Atgharia Police Station Rakibul Islam confirmed.
Preparation is ongoing to send Ashraf Ali’s body to the morgue.
