Members of the Coast Guard of the Western Zone recovered a head and a skin of a hunted deer of Sundarban from Khasitana embankment area under Koira Upazila in Khulna district on Saturday mid night.
But at that time nobody was arrested byh the coastgujards. It may be mentioned here that on December 30 coastguards also recovered a head and a skin of deer from the same place.
M. Alauddin Nayan, Lt. Commander of the Coast Guard of the Western Zone deployed at Mongla disclosed to the newsmen that acting on secret information a contingent of the coastguards raided the area at the night. But getting the scent of the appearance of the coastguards the poachers fled away leaving a head and a skin of a deer there.
Then the coastguards searched the area and recovered the same and handed them over to Khasitana forest office under the Western Division of Sundarban forest.
