National football team head coach Ledewijk de Kruif expressed his high hope of putting a good show against India in the FIFA friendly match scheduled to take place on March 5 in Goa, India
The national team will leave for India today (Sunday) to take part in the friendly match.
The Dutch coach Lodewijk de Kruif looked forward with confidence. “My expectation is of course for a good result. But for us it’s important to play the match. It’s also very important that we bring fresh blood in the team. They have the potential and if they can bring it in a big match like this it will be a good development” he said.
Skipper Mamunul Islam was ready for the challenge. “We played very well in IFA Shield. I think India looked down upon us, but I this time they cannot take us lightly. India is the best team in the region and they will have home advantage. But if we can give our hundred percent, we will win the match” said the midfielder.
BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, vice- president Tabith Awal, general secretary Abu Naeem Shohag, team manager Iqbal Hossain, assistant coach Rene Koster were also present on the pre-departure press conference.
