A Dhaka Court has remanded Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan, Juba League (JL) Dhaka South) unit Organising Secretary and owner of Young Men’s Club, for seven days to grill him in two cases with Gulshan Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistarte Begum Mahmuda passed the order when Gulshan Police Station’s Inspector Aminul Islam produced Khalid in the court with 14 days remand plea on Thursday evening.
The judge grauted seven-day remand in arms and drug cases filed with the Gulshan Police Station.
Police also showed him arrested in two cases filed by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) with Gulshan police in the afternoon.
He gave some vital information during the primary interrogation under RAB custody, RAB official said.
Meanwhile, three separate cases have been filed against Khalid Mahmud Bhuiyan, who was arrested on Wednesday for running a “casino” at Fakirerpool.
RAB filed the cases with Gulshan Police Station this afternoon, said Kamruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station.
Of the three cases, one was filed under the Firearms Act while another under The Narcotics Control Act as Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized three firearms, bullets, and 580 yaba pills from under the possession of Khalid during the drive, said the police official.  
Besides, another case was filed under the Money Laundering Act, added the Rab officials.
On Wednesday evening, Khalid was arrested for illegally running a casino at Young Men’s Club at Fakirerpool in the city.
RAB conducted a drive in Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club, owned by Khaled, and detained 142 people including some female employees from there. Among the 142 detainees, 31 were jailed for one year each and the rests for six months each.
