The High Court bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim passed the order after holding virtual hearing on
a writ petition filed by AMM Anisul Awal challenging the legality of the order issued by the ministry.
Barrister Shanjid Siddique took part in the hearing on behalf of Anisul Awal while deputy attorney general Amit Talukder appeared for the state.
Barrister Shanjid said that the labour ministry on June 2 this year appointed Md Amir Hossain as the director general of the central fund under the ministry of labour after dismissing Dr AMM Anisul Awal from the post.
The ministry did not give Anisul Awal any notice before terminating him from the post and even the authority did not give him any chance to defense himself which was a clear violation of law and the contact of appointment, added the lawyer.
