A division bench of the High Court issued a rule on the Registrar of Joint Stock Company and Managing Director of the ‘Kutumbari Restaurant and Birani House’ as to why the name of the restaurant should not be changed as per Company Law 11 (2).
The bench comprising Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice Mohammad Habibul Gani issued the rule upon a writ petition filed by Managing Director of Kutum Bari Limited, Gazi Khaled Ibn Mohammad, on February 18.
