The High Court Division in a judgment on 29-07-13 directed the Ministry of Public Administration to promote Dr Mohammad Shah Alam to the post of additional secretary and secretary in the light of judgment and order passed by the Appellate Division of Supreme Court within next 30 days, says a press release signed by Assistant to lawyer of the victim Advocate Shah Md Sirajul Hoque.
“Dr Mohammad Shah Alam promoted to the post of joint secretary on 22 February, 1998, was made OSD against which he filed a writ petition in 2003 seeking justice.
After hearing both parties, Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice AKM Jahirul Hoque of High Court Division delivered the judgment and passed order on 29 July 2013.
