The High Court on Wednesday gave order to the authorities of the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) to recommend for appointment of 2500 people, who got registration from the NTRCA after appearing the 13th test, as teachers in different private educational institutions.
The High Court bench of Justice Kashefa Hussain and Justice Fatema Najib delivered the verdict after hearing a writ petition filed by the registered candidates.
Lawyers Siddique Ullah Miah, Moniruzzaman Asad and others appeared in the hearing on behalf of the writ petitioners.
Later Siddique Ullah Miah said, “The NTRCA published the circular for the 13th NTRCA exams in 2016. But the NTRCA
was not giving appointment to the qualified candidates who had been selected through three-step examinations for a long time. In this circumstance the candidates submitted memorandum to the NTRCA authorities for their appointment. Finally they moved the High Court.”
More 2207 candidates who also passed the 13th NTRCA exams were appointed after the apex court verdict.
