Bangladesh national cricket team head coach Upul Chandika Hathurusingha on Monday joined the Tigers’ ongoing conditioning camp at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur here.
Earlier, the former Sri Lankan cricketer arrived on Sunday in the city after a long vacation. The Bangladesh team’s condition camp began on June 20 without the head coach with the preliminary selected cricketers for the upcoming home series against England in September-October.
Bangladesh fielding coach Richard Halsall returned to Dhaka on Friday, the first of the team’s foreign coaching staff to return after the terror attack in the Bangladesh capital on July 1.
Mario Villavarayan, the strength and conditioning coach, also came on Saturday to join the conditioning camp.
Meanwhile, all the foreign coaches of the team including Hathurusingha have been accommodated to Kurmitola Golf Club due to security reason.
