The 3-day long regional bishwa Ijtema of Chittagong ended yesterday amid huge participation of devotees .Hundreds of thousand mussallis assembled in the ijtema ground at Charia village beside the Charia Madrasa under Hathazari upazila to seek blessing of the Almighty Allah and the prophet Mohammad(SA) .On Friday huge participants witnessed in Juma prayer . Moulavi Hafez Md. Jubair of Kakrail Mosque of Dhaka conducted the juma prayer. On Friday , the movement of transports on Chittagong – Nazirhat road from the point of Hathazari bus station to Igtima filed about 3 miles off Hathazari remained suspended for easy movement of mussalis by private transports and on foot .
In juma prayer, among others, Water Resources Minister Anisul Islam MahmudMP, lawmaker of Satkania Dr. Abu Reza Md. Nizamuddin Nadvi, Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Shamsul Arefin, Police Super Nure Alam Mina, Addl. Police super of Hathazari, chairman of Hathazari Upazila Parishad Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury, Asstt. Commissioner of Land, Hathazari Ariful Islam, Officer incharge of hathazari thana Belaluddin Jahangir, upazila officials and public representatives of the district participated the Juma prayer, sources said.
