UNB, Dhaka :
Expressing grave concern over the country’s current political situation, President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Saturday said the Prime Minister must take initiatives to end the crisis.
“Bangladesh is now burning… in this critical situation, the Prime Minister has the greater responsibility. She must take initiatives first to resolve the crisis. The chief of the 20-party alliance will have to talk as well,” he said while speaking at the six-hour token-hunger strike programme organised by BDB at its Kuril office in the city.
The BDB president announced the programme
through a press release on Thursday.
Pointing at the chiefs of the two major political parties (AL and BNP), Badruddoza Chowdhury said it is the demand of the country’s 18 crore people that they must sit in dialogue to end the crisis.
