Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah has been replaced by Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rahman as the vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University after his four-year tenure has ended.
Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rahman of the Department of Management Information System of Dhaka University, has been serving as the treasurer of Begum Rokeya University.
Chancellor of the universities President Md Abdul Hamid appointed Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rahman as the vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University on Wednesday. The Ministry of Education also issued a circular in this regard.
Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rahman’s appointment will be effective from June 14, 2021.
It was also stated in the circular that the new vice-chancellor would have to stay on the university campus as the chief executive officer of the university.
