Hasan Sohel, Staff Reporter of Daily Inquilab, has been honoured Bondhu Media Fellowship Award.
The Social Welfare Society handed over the award at programme held in the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum on Wednesday.
National Human Rights Commission Chairman Kazi Riazul Hoque was present the programme as the chief guest while Journalist Rumi Noman presided over it.
Professor Robayet Ferdous, teacher of Dhaka University’s Mass Communication and Journalism Department, moderated the function while Chief News Editor of the Daily Jugantor Abdur Rahman, Chief News Editor of Maasranga Television Ashraful Hoque, Sports Editor of the Daily Inquilab Rejaur Rahman Sohag and Executive Director of Social Welfare Society Saleh Ahmed spoke at the function as the special guests.
Another 12 journalists from different print and electronic media have received the award.
