Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Thursday mourned the death of eminent journalist and Director General (DG) of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Shah Alamgir.
In a condolence message, he expressed deep shock and sorrow at his death saying, “We have lost a dedicated media think-tank and columnist. He will live through his work.”
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate condolence messages,the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Information Ministry Hasanul Haq Inu, Information Secretary Abdul Malek
also expressed deep shock at the death of Shah Alamgir and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
