Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Madaripur district council chairman Miaz Uddin Khan.
In a condolence message on Friday, Dr Hasan, also Joint General Secretary of Awami League, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary K M Shakhawat Moon’s father Miaz Uddin was also former Chairman of the Tourism Corporation.
