Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General and former lawmaker Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu.
In a condolence message, the minister said the country has lost an experienced politician in his death.
Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Bablu passed away on Saturday at a city hospital at the age of 66.
