A solo poetry recital evening titled Prem of noted recitation artiste Hasan Arif was held at Bengal Shipalaya in the city’s Dhanmondi area recently.
Organised by Bengal Foundation, the programme specially focused on love poetry.
In the beginning of his performance, Hasan Arif recited the poem titled Kichhu Kotha Onek Diner, Kichhu Kotha Ajker, a quotation from the poem titled Kothar Kotha.
Hasan Arif recited to a packed audience, 40 extracts from the poems of five poets – Nirmalendu Gun, Sohel Anwar, Aminur Rahman, Ramchandra Pal and Shuvro Das Gupto in the poetry evening. n
