Jahangirnagar University unit of Bangladesh Chatra League (BCL) organized a harmony rally on Tuesday against recent sectarian attack on the hindus at different places of country.
Earlier, Around 200 hundreds leaders and activists of the organisation from several halls gathered at around 12:45 at the old transport yard of the university.
Later, they started the procession at around 1:00 pm from the old transport yard and ended at university’s Shaheed Minar premises with a ‘harmony rally’.
Addressing the rally, the BCL activists demanded punitive measures against the culprits who attacked on the hindu minorities people.
Akhtaruzzaman Sohel, Mahbubul Haque Rafa, Anamul Haque, Ratan Biswas,
Niladree Shekhar Mazumder, Arif Ahmed, Alam Sheikh, Aklima Akter Esha, Habibur Rahman Liton, Amrin Trisha, Abdur Rahman were present in the rally among others.
