Haripada Roy gets Mother Teresa Golden Award in Nilphamari

Haripad Roy, Head Teacher of Darwani High School in Nilphamari Sadar upazila has achieved Mother Teresa Golden Award for the special contribution in education on Monday.
The teachers, students and managing committee of the educational institute arranged arecepyion for him yesterday for being given the honor. Speaking at a programme in the school’s class room, head teacher Haripad Roy, assistant teacher ShirajulHaque, Pradeep Kumar Roy, Tasmina Parveen, guardian member Shafiqul Islam Shah. The meeting was conducted by Asaduzzaman Palash.
The honorable teacher was awarded a Golden Award and Certificate of Honor in honor of the working life of Mother Teresa at the Economic journalist’ Auditorium on Monday in the initiative of the Journalist Society for Human Rights.
In this regard, head teacher Haripad Roy said, “I have dedicated the award and certificate to my educational institute. “You will do better than me to brighten the faces of parents and institutions.
It is to be noted that Haripad Roy of Sukdhan village of Tupamari union of Sadarupazila has been associated with the profession of teaching for the last 20 years.
In addition to teaching, he is also involved in social activities. At the end of his life he used to play tuition as a hobby. He served as an assistant teacher at KachuaChowrangiHigh School of Lakshichap Union. Later, on July 2013joined the Darwani high school as head teacher. He is a Master Trainer of BRAC’s Private Development Agency; English Language Development Project (ELTP) trained and has received a Certificate in Life Skills Training during his working life.
