Harassment of Hindu family alleged

A Hindu family at Rajarhat Upazila in Kurigram district has allegedly left the country due to the torture by section of people .
Mr Tarapada Roy Sarker, former assistant professor of Rajarhat Mohila Degree College left the country in 2010 for study in UK to escape himself from the eminent danger after his motor – bike was vandalized by terrorist group for not giving exhortation.
After that, his wife and three children faced odd situation and on May 26, 2012 the terrorist gang of Kurigram town came suddenly to their house by motor bikes demanded money , attempted to kidnap the children and at last forcefully compelled her to get signed the blank cheque of Islamic Bank from her wife Mrs Krishna Rami Karmaker. In connection with the incident, Mrs Krishna Karmaker filed an FIR case with Rajarhat thana.
As a result , the perpetrators did threat t withdraw the case, she refused to withdraw the case, than they conspired a plan and filed a counter harassment case against her by abusing her blank cheque. Not only that, they showed the vulgarity and obscenity towards her and her children on the way. The children were in fear of kidnapping and out of school for two years.
Lastly, in 2014 Krishna Rani Karmaker was issued an warrant of arrest on basis of the judgment and order with one year imprisonment and TK 1,00,000 was fined by the joint District Judge, Kurigram and recently her nephew Mahadev Karmaker forcefully converted to Muslim.
